    6 novembre 1948
    à Détroit aux États-Unis
     
    ♫ Glenn Lewis FREY est un chanteur, compositeur et guitariste américain.
    Il est surtout connu pour être un membre fondateur du groupe de rock
     
    The Eagles
     
    ♫ Glenn Lewis FREY a grandi à Royal Oak dans le Michigan, un État du Middle West des États-Unis.
    Il a commencé à jouer dans des groupes de rock dès les années 1960.
    Sa première expérience professionnelle est en 1968 avec le groupe de Bob Seger avec lequel Glenn joue de la guitare et fait de l'accompagnement au chant.
     
    ♫ Glenn Lewis FREY part ensuite à Los Angeles et enregistre en solo, tout en jouant en duo avec J.D. SOUTHER en 1969. Il collabore aussi avec Jackson BROWNE.
     
    ♫ Après avoir fait partie du groupe de Linda RONSTADT, Glenn Lewis FREY forme le groupe  The Eagles avec lequel il joue de la guitare et des claviers.
    Il écrit la plupart des chansons du groupe, seul ou avec Don HENLEY. Il chante aussi sur plusieurs morceaux, dont Take It Easy et Peaceful Easy Feeling.
     
    ♫ Après la séparation des Eagles, Glenn Lewis FREY poursuit une carrière en solo pendant les années 1980. Il obtient plusieurs hits comme The Heat Is On et You Belong to the City de la série télévisée Deux flics à Miami qui reste onze semaines dans les classements américains.
     
    ♫ Depuis 1994 Glenn Lewis FREY participe à plusieurs tournées des Eagles dont les membres entre temps se sont réunis.
     
    ♫ Glenn Lewis FREY poursuit aussi une carrière d'acteur, on a pu le voir dans des séries à la télévision, comme dans Deux flics à Miami.
